Verify a certificate
Check the authenticity of a certificate issued by Honeypot Security using its code. The result comes from the certificate registry.
What the code is made of
The code has four parts separated by hyphens. Each part carries meaning, so the code alone tells you which track and which year a certificate belongs to.

Process
How verification works
The code is looked up
The code you enter is normalised and looked up in the certificate registry.
- Case and spacing are ignored
- A malformed code is not looked up at all
The state is resolved
The current state of the record is computed.
- In force
- Revoked — with the date
- Expired — with the date
The result is shown
The record is displayed in full.
- Holder and programme
- Issue date and validity
- The page is not indexed by search engines
Questions
Frequently asked
No. It is an internal Honeypot Security certificate confirming that a training programme was completed. It carries no state accreditation and we do not present it as one.
The period is printed on the certificate and shown in the verification result. Where no period is set, it reads “No expiry”.
Write to us with the holder’s name and an approximate date and we will find the record in the registry.
If it was issued in error, or used dishonestly by its holder. A revoked record is not deleted from the registry — it stays in the revoked state together with the date.
That is the point of verification: confirming who a code belongs to. Result pages are not indexed by search engines, and the registry holds no personal data beyond the name.
